yep!!

The new semester will start soon and new students will come to Ewha and enjoy their university life on campus. So, we will introduce Ewha’s restaurants for new students who are unfamiliar with the campus.

                ECC

There are some restaurants in the ECC building. We recommend two restaurants which are most popular. They are the Food Court and Dr. Robbins.    

The Food Court has many kinds of food. There is the Sonsoo which sells Korean foods, Up Town which serves pasta and Saboten which sells pork cutlets. The advantage of the Food Court is that students can choose various foods. We interviewed students about the best menu in the restaurant, but their answer was “nothing,” because each person has different tastes.

Dr. Robbins sells coffees, ice creams, pastas and pizza. If we bring our student ID, we can receive a 10% discount. Dr. Robbins also has lots of menus and many delicious foods. The advantage of Dr. Robbins is its nice atmosphere at the center of the ECC building. The space is very wide and it’s easy to meet many people there.

 

                Ewha Sarang & Para

Ewha Sarang gimbap is one of the popular foods at Ewha Woman’s University. Do you want to have a simple, cheap, and delicious meal? I highly recommend this place. It has many kinds of gimbap, such as chamchi, cheeze,mulchi, chamchi-kimchi, cham you boo, and chilly chicken gimbap etc. There are more than 10 kinds of gimbap, but if you want to have a specific flavor, you have to go fast to Ewha Sarang because it might be sold-out pretty early. Among them, popular gimbaps are chamchi or cham you boo. Their prices range from only 1,500 won to 3,000 won. Besides Ewha Sarang gimbap, there is a café named Para, where you can enjoy beverages. There are many kinds of coffees and juices like other cafes. You can enjoy both gimbap and drink at the same time. Many soft chairs are prepared for you.

  Student Cafeterias

  There are a few cafeterias on campus. These are for students, so the cost is very cheap. There are limited menus and they usually consist of Korean food or Western food. We introduce two restaurants those are most popular.

               Sanghwalguan (생활관)

Sanghwalguan is the name of a building and there is a cafeteria in the basement. The Sanghwalguan is the biggest and most popular cafeteria in Ewha. Student’s opinion is that the Sanghwalguan food is pretty cheap and delicious.

The menu changes every day.

Sanghwalguan is little far from front gate but it is located near the center of campus.

          Helenguan(헬렌관)

 Helenguan is also a popular place to eat. A pork cutlet is the most famous dish. The pork cutlet is always on the menu for 2300 won. Also kimchi and salad is free. Helenguan is nearby the central library.

            There are many places to eat meals on the Ewha campus, such as the Food Court, Ewha Sarang, and student cafeterias. You don’t have to go far away. We hope that this article gives you some useful information.
